Matthew M. Babson

Matthew is a Partner and Secretary of Good Harbor Advisors. With over two decades of experience in taxes and accounting, he brings a unique perspective to investing and advisory services. He is passionate about helping clients with their planning needs so they can pursue their goals.

Along with working with Good Harbor Advisors, Matthew has owned Babson & Company since 2000, providing accounting, tax, and advisory services. He uses his personal experiences running and owning a business to assist clients with their business planning needs. Prior to founding his own practice, he worked with Moody Famiglietti & Andronico, CPAs as a tax manager for several years.

As an Investment Advisor Representative, Matthew holds a FINRA Series 65 securities registration. He received his Master of Science in Taxation from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Thomas College. 

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Matthew is an avid cyclist and boater. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Manship Artists Residency + Studios (MARS) as the nonprofit’s Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
